S&I Spectroscopy & Imaging GmbH is specialized in Development and Production of high performance, high spectral resolution Raman Microscopes, Triple Raman Spectrometer and Double-Monochromators.
All Systems are in house developed, customized, built, distributed and installed at the customers site by S&I Spectroscopy & Imaging GmbH and their qualified technicians. All possible Hard & Software Adaptions to customers requirements can be realized.
Our core competence is based on a complete independence in all areas since 1995.

The S&I sustainability concept
S&I attaches great importance to resource-saving and responsible action.
As a family-oriented small company, S&I is in the fortunate position of being able to act flexibly and uncomplicatedly.
The S&I team lives close to the company (up to 20 km) and is sensitized to the issue of sustainability and is always committed to further reducing the ecological footprint.
The S&I work processes are generally carried out digitally (paperless office). The switch to digital work models is successfully used both in the home office and as a replacement for business trips. S&I ensures cybersecurity and data protection through an energy-efficient IT infrastructure on the in-house server.
The S&I business offices and production facilities are heated exclusively through biogas heat generation. A form of by-products of renewable electricity generation from at least 70 % manure. Since 2020, the building is supplied by at least 50 % solar electricity via the in-house photovoltaic system. Since 2025, purchased electricity is coming from 100 % renewable sources.
Since 2022, the S&I fleet has been converted to electric (hybrid) vehicles, which will be used to deliver the systems in combination with installation wherever possible. This change will save a good 30 % of fossil fuels.
The S&I delivery processes are constantly monitored and further optimized. When purchasing, emphasis is placed on sustainable products and collective deliveries in order to avoid unnecessary transports. When delivering S&I products, attention is paid to environmentally friendly packaging and shipping methods.
Through the measures mentioned above, S&I has managed to compensate for its own CO2 emissions to a large extent.
